About Derrick Etienne
Derrick Etienne is a Co-founder of Etienne Ministries, Co-Founder and Senior Pastor of the Latter Glory Church of Paterson, NJ where "...the Glory of this Latter House shall be Greater than of the former..." (Haggai 2:9) He is also the Overseer of Latter Glory Ministries of Harare, Zimbabwe and currently organizing the Latter Glory Ministries of Leogane, Haiti.
Since 2003, Pastor Derrick has been ordained and faithfully submitted under the headship and covering of Bishop T.D. Jakes and the Potter’s House International Pastoral Alliance. (PHIPA)
While maintaining oversight of the Latter Glory Churches, Derrick Etienne served 4 years as the Executive Assistant Pastor of the Empowerment Temple AME Church of Baltimore, Md. where Dr. Jamal Harrison Bryant was the Senior Pastor.
Other accomplishments and achievements include, attended Virginia Commonwealth University and Virginia Union University. Played Division 1 men's soccer followed by a successful 10 year professional soccer career in the United States and internationally for the Haitian National Team. Obtained and currently holds U.S. National Coaching licenses and credentials for his 25 year soccer coaching career. Co-Founder of The Etienne Soccer School of Excellence. He manages his son Derrick Etienne Jr., a professional soccer player formerly with the New York Red Bulls, currently with the Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer, His daughter Danielle, student athlete at Fordham University and FIFA Women’s World Cup Player and Olympic National Team player, as well as consulting other players under the Etienne Management Group. Also, along with his son, he is the Co-Founder of the Etienne Family Foundation, a 501(c)3 non profit organization organized for empowering youth and families with Faith, Hope, and Love through Community Outreach, Recreation, and Education.
Derrick Etienne is married to Shamone Etienne, his partner in life and partner in Christ. Derrick and Shamone celebrated 25 years of holy matrimony on June 1, 2020 and are the proud parents of three wonderfully gifted and talented children, Darice, Derrick Jr. and Danielle.
