Derrick Etienne is the Founder and Senior Pastor of the Latter Glory Church of Paterson, NJ for 22 years. During this tenure he founded the Latter Glory Church of Richmond, Va., Oversees the Latter Glory Ministries of Harare, Zimbabwe, and currently organizing the Latter Glory Ministries of Leogane, Haiti.

 

While maintaining oversight of the Latter Glory Churches, Derrick Etienne served for four years as the Executive Assistant Pastor of the Empowerment Temple AME Church of Baltimore, MD. where Dr. Jamal Harrison Bryant was the Senior Pastor. Derrick Etienne was Licensed, Ordained, and installed to Pastor in ministry by Bishop W.L. Blackwell Sr., Presiding Prelate of the United Holiness Churches of life. Since 2003 Derrick has been submitted under the pastoral affiliation and covering of Bishop T.D. Jakes and the Potter’s House International Pastoral Alliance.

 

Derrick Etienne’s passion to build strong people and communities extends beyond the four walls of churches. He is the visionary behind the IHELP Mission which is the outreach initiative of the Latter Glory Church as well as Co Founder and Executive Director of the Etienne Family Foundation, empowering youth & families with faith, hope, and love through Community Outreach, Recreation, and Education. Derrick Etienne is the CEO of DE Creative Strategies LLC Determined to Empower the world with various initiatives, including the Leader’s E.D.G.E. (Equipping & Developing for Global Engagement), a leadership training hub for the gathering, training, developing and networking of future and existing leaders in the marketplace; and Go 4 Glory 365, another training hub to specifically Intercede, Instruct, Impact, and Inspire athletes to reach their full potential spiritually, mentally and physically.

 

Other accomplishments achievements include, attended Virginia Union University and Virginia Commonwealth University, majoring in Mass Communications. Former scholarship athlete who played Division 1 men's soccer at VCU followed by a successful 10 year professional soccer career in the United States and internationally for the Haitian National Team. Obtained and currently holds U.S. National Coaching licenses and credentials for his 29 year soccer coaching career and is a Co-Founder of The Etienne Soccer School of Excellence, coaching, training, and developing more than 250 youth soccer players from beginners, travel, academy, collegiate, to elite professionals.

 

Derrick Etienne is married to Shamone Etienne, his partner in life and partner in Ministry going on 29 years. They are the proud parents of three wonderfully gifted and talented children. Dr. Darice Etienne Davis, Doctor of Psychology holding two masters degrees in Clinical and Forensic Psychology. Derrick Etienne Jr. is a professional soccer player for Atlanta United of Major League Soccer and Internationally for the Haitian National Team. Lastly Danielle Etienne, a student athlete on a division I scholarship at Fordham University and member of the Haitian Women’s World Cup National Team. Derrick and Shamone are also the proud grandparents of Ezekiel and Giselle.
